This course covers techniques required to be able to fell a tree larger than guidebar length. Maximum guidebar length 380mm (15”).

Course Objectives:
H&S requirements, including current legislation, PPE,safe operation, and Risk Assessments.

Fell larger sized trees safely and accurately using an appropriate method.

Sned and / or de-limb larger sized trees.

Crosscut stems over guide bar length in diameter.

Using a hand winch to assist with felling, or taking down a ‘hung up’ tree.
