NPTC has been at the forefront of developments for the craftsman awards under the Chainsaw operation, the HSE and other government agencies and national bodies.
NPTC works closely with LANTRA, to ensure that qualifications are current and relative of the industries needs.

For each of the training courses available, the course fee also includes an NPTC registration fee and assessment by an NPTC approved assessor.

The NPTC registration fee will cover the cost of certification, the issue of an ID card and ensure the quality assurance that assessors are assessing to the required standard.

When your assessments have been completed, we will forward your results to NPTC for certification, a process that will normally take about 4 weeks.
